What happens when a new generation of potters gets the clay in their hands?

Get up close to the ideas, experiments and artistic ideas of nine young ceramicists when Dissemination Inspector Anders Kolt Rasmussen takes you on an exclusive tour of the exhibition with bachelor's projects from the Professional Bachelor of Glass and Ceramics at the Royal Academy (KDAK).

The exhibition is the culmination of three years of work with clay and ceramics and shows how far the material can be stretched. Here traditional craftsmanship meets new sculptural expressions, and familiar ceramic techniques are explored, challenged and used in new ways.

On the tour, we dive into selected works and take a closer look at the ideas, materials and processes behind them. At the same time, you will get an insight into what occupies a new generation of potters — and how they help to point out new directions for the artistic field of ceramics.
